New Restraunt in Penfield
The other night my wife and I were working late on our Real Estate business and we realized that we were getting hungry. So we started to throw names of restaraunts to each other where we could possibly go to. After about 10 minutes we decided to try the new steakhouse near our home called T Bones. We called to see if we needed reservations and to find out how late they serve. They said we did not need a reservation and they stopped serving at 10:00 pm. I told them that we were on our way.
The place was recently painted and appeared clean and bright.. Our server seated us in the corner and our first observation was there was two too many tables in the room. It was also slightly warm in the room. Our onlycomplant of the evening.
Our server told us about the specials that night and gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. They have a modest wine list but you can bring your own bottle for a $10 corkage fee. Our server returned and we orderd. My wife orderd the sea scallops served over risoto and a ceaser salad and I orderd the cast ironed seared rib-eye served with pomme frites. My wifes salad was very good and the scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted great. My steak was served medium rare, as I orderd. The fries were an outstanding compliment to the steak. After the meal there was no room for dessert(this trip).
We will definatly be going back to this restraunt again, good food and close to home.
